Brent was making his speech in the middle of the Hall where a stage was placed. The crowd was in a circle, the music had died down, and people of Shadow pack listened as the pack’s beta talked.

“Let’s stay here while Brent do his thing.” Jacob whispered on my ears. We’re at the stairs, halfway down the crowd when he stopped me by clinging on my waist. His pack was oblivious of our presence, they are focused at Brent.
