Chapter 70. Knight in Shining Armour

André's POV

I had just finished a council meeting and had barely paid attention to what was being said. Olivia had been missing for a whole day. I had not heard a word from her, not even a text.

As much as I wanted to wait, I couldn’t let any harm come to my princess. I needed to find her and have her close to me.

I exhaled deeply as I walked to my office. My mind was made up; I was going to find her, and nothing was going to stop me.

I pulled out a packed bag beside my desk and immediately headed downstairs to meet Pierre, who was waiting for me.

"Pierre, I need you to contact our men in the human cities. I need them to send me every surveillance image from the bus stop to every stop made by the bus Olivia took."

Pierre looked horrified, took the bag from me, and placed it in the trunk with trembling hands.

“I don't think that they will be able to get you that information so soon. There are lots of protocols that they will need to take…”
