We’re losing him?

I didn’t bother to hesitate and entered the room to see Alpha Kai coughing up and shaking. His infected wound by the shoulder was now wrapped up with some bandage.

Why is he not healing? He’s an alpha, he must have incredible healing abilities. He should have healed in no time!

I looked around me and saw that the pack doctor was just watching, he seems to have already given up,

Alpha Kai then stooped moving. I held his hand, “You bastard, wake up!” I yelled. I could feel tears falling from my eyes.

I noticed how the pack doctor left the room, giving me privacy as I tried to maintain my composure.

I glared at Alpha Kai’s corpse. I tried to look for any heartbeat but there was no sign of life. Instead, he only got colder with each minute that passed.

I instantly hit him, just in case it would be enough to wake him up but still no reaction from him.

A sob escaped from me, followed by more tears as I curse his entire being.
