I raised my eyebrows, “What? You can read my thoughts? You’re only able to do that when you marked me right? But you still haven’t.....so how?”

He suddenly smirked, “Oh honey, there are lots of things that you do not know about me,” He then leaned into me, his lips brushing off on my nose as his breath tickled my ears,” And one of them is that I can read your mind.”

“What?”

“Of course, don’t you think that your father just selected me as your guardian? He wanted to know what you are thinking…

“That’s an invasion of privacy!” I yelled, “But how?”

“Well, I am after all one of the gifted….I could read anyone’s intentions by just merely looking at their eyes.”

I gasped, not hearing of that. I had never heard of any wolf with gifts. I thought it was just a myth.

So they…exists?”

“Yes, we exit, Arya.” He answered me, saying out loud my thoughts. “So unless you want to stay here and gawk at my awesomeness, then I’ll leave you to your own.”
