Chapter 78. Battle

Centaurs are here. I couldn't imagine seeing one in this timeline. Along with elves that have sharp arrows launching at them.

Their side started to lose some knights and I couldn’t bear this.

How is this happening when they were just winning a while ago?

“Long time no see, Princess.” A man stepped forward. It was the elf who argued back at the giant queen from their past adventure.

“Looks like you are determined to show yourself, elf.” I retorted.

The elf grinned lopsidedly, “To come and get your hand.” He announced. “As your suitor, I want to help your kingdom which doesn’t have a king now.”

I blinked, and Kai instantly pulled me to the side. His jaw was clenching and I could feel how angry and jealous he is that he is marking his territory now.

I can’t help but compare the Kai here and the Kai back in my old world. They both are the same. Protective and possessive.

“You seem to be daring to steal the princess from me.” Kai snapped.
