Chapter 39. Happily Wolfie After
“Welcome,” Yasmin smiled as Kristain and Riyadh walked into the clinic, hand in hand. “I was told by Carlos while I was out that you two never stopped to check up on me.”
Kristain grinned, sitting down on the only chair beside her bed, and pulled Riyadh onto his lap.
“Don’t mention it, sister. I would have done more for you.”
Riyadh smiled at Yasmin. “Thank you so much, Yasmin. I can’t thank you enough.”
“Of course you can,” Yasmin grinned.
“I’m not so sure of that,” Carlos teased. “I would have haunted Kristain and Riyadh if I had lost you,” he said, stroking her hair.
He couldn’t get enough of her. He was filled to the brim of his heart when she finally healed up and was able to shift back into her human form.
Yasmin snorted. “You will do no such thing.” She blinked at him. “My love.”
He groaned. “You don’t get to act cute with me when my heart is still frayed with nerves over the thought of losing you.”
