Chapter 195

After Thallus had crowned his long lost brother king and things were a bit settled, he had been burdened with the task of revealing himself to Matilda as her father. He had not been certain how to tell her or how he would even begin explaining how it had happened so he had consulted with Lady Christine, the mother of his child. She was of the same opinion as he was that they should undeceive their child but they could not come up with a suitable explanation to give the little girl. They had decided to tell her regardless.

One night they had knocked on her bedroom door at the palace; she had told them to come in.

“Why are you two acting weird?” questioned Matilda when the two had come in but had not said anything and had continued to glance around nervously.
