Mirabelle’s POV

Santiago is gawking at me with an odd expression as if he is trying to figure out some puzzle. I roll my eyes seeing he won’t be much help and we need Camilla so she can go shopping with us. “Have you checked his other bedroom?” He finally articulates, before heading the same direction he came.

No. I didn’t think of it, it slipped my mind that he’d be in it with her. The room was built for him and his Luna when he turned ten years old he never takes any girls up there—

Of course, he can take her there, she’s his Luna. “Thanks, see you later.” I mouth to Santiago and he halts in his tracks.

“Tell Adrian there’s work he needs to attend to.”

I prance to Adrian’s room and knock twice on the door. I’m about to knock a third time when Adrian opens it. He looks at me with that ‘I knew it was you’ expression and I nervously laugh. “Hi.”

“Why are you knocking so hard on my door?” He deadpans, walking back inside.
