My world stopped.
My eyes widened in shock. “You’re lying!”
“Am I?” She laughed coldly. “He falsified the reports, covered up traces of the poison, altered everything to make you believe it was Foster’s doing. Because he was afraid, Summer. Afraid that if you knew, you would never forgive yourself.”
