Chapter 141. Great Idea

Devon’s POV

“Is he powerful?” That was the first question that came to my mind after I heard about the issue and that was what I asked my father.

My father went in deep thought for a while before he nodded “Brendan was as powerful as I was back then and he must have grown more during the years. I’m sure he used these years to build up his power to take me on,” He explained and let out a deep breath.

“I’m not scared of him and I’m confident I can take him on but I don’t want to endanger the Pack. Make sure the Pack’s security is tight until I’m able to deal with him, okay?” Sir Gabriel sought assurance as he stared at Bella and me.

Bella glanced at me and our eyes met “Why the Pack? Is he that crazy that he would involve the Pack in his enmity?” She asked with confusion in her tone.
