I knew taking the letter to Brendan would be dangerous but what could be more dangerous than losing my son? Also, Sir Gabriel would never do something that would hurt me, I trusted him that much.
I immediately went down and instead of taking help from the guards, I decided to go alone as that would reassure Brendan that I wasn’t there to fight but to surrender... Well, if I could call it that way.
