Bella’s POV

We watched the First Elder leave with a hint of annoyance on his face. He must have felt so troubled all through the day and when he realized that his grandson was safe, he would want nothing but to have him around himself and protect him forever. What happened today could have put an end to Jade’s life if Devon had a bad Alpha or if he was like his strict father.

First Elder knew all these and he also knew that Jade wouldn’t be in this trouble if he hadn’t visited the Castle in the first place. In his mind, he must be thinking that he would never let Jade enter the Castle again but that same Jade wanted to live in this Castle forever and even refused to go home with him. He must be really angry but there was nothing I could do to help him. His grandson was the one who refused to go home and I could see how happy he was when he was around Kaden.
