Chapter 81. Why Were They Talking About Me?

Bella’s POV

“You don’t need to worry about me. I will just sleep beside him if I’m feeling sleepy.” I replied with a small smile on my face. Talking about my pregnancy was still very awkward for me. Especially when Devon was there, even though I knew he wouldn’t hear us as he was sleeping.

Dennis shook his head “I still don’t think that’s right. Alpha Devon wouldn’t let us be when he finds out we left you alone to take care of him overnight.”

“It’s not overnight. It’s almost morning.” I replied.

Beta Abel checked his time to confirm what I said but he wasn’t convinced either “We still can’t do that. You should go and rest.” He said calmly. “Alpha Devon wouldn’t be happy if he finds out you stayed up all night because of him.” He added.

I nodded my head, I knew it was meaningless to k
