Chapter 15

Gabby’s POV

I regained my composure and went to the bathroom to wash my face. It was the first time I had entered it and it was beautiful but I had not time to admire it as I was in pain and my face was still burning. I washed it and I didn’t have to bother about hiding the fresh wounds as I knew my mate wasn’t going to notice anything.

When I was done with the bathroom, I got back into the room and worked fast on cleaning the mess. I picked up every broken piece and threw them out the window and also I used a small face towel I had found in the bathroom to clean up the sour liquid. I was done in no time and had destroyed all evidence of anything ever happening.

Kate was brought soon and she was fast asleep. I had to join her as it was already late and I had nothing to do and so I laid on the bed next to my daughter falling asleep with and empty growling stomach and wondering what terrible thing lay in store for me by tomorrow.
