Batting his long lashes at me, his eyes brightened with every second that passed. I was still gaping at him.

He did not seem to know I had been standing and staring at him for only the goddess knows how many minutes.

His gentle orbs flickered down to Lucian's peaceful face. The boy looked just like his father, the resemblance was undeniable now.

"He is asleep." Alpha Lake commented. I caught myself and stood straight. While clearing my throat, I tucked both my hands into the pockets of my bathrobe.

His eyes rested on me for a short while. I did everything to make sure that I avoided his gaze. I had to get my head straight, all these feelings were not good for me.

"I should leave you to get dressed, should I not?"
