Hell no.

Those were the first twod words that rang in my head as I looked Anthony in his beautiful gray eyes. His hair was still as dark as I remembered it. And I could not tell if it was me or all the chaos that was happening around me, but the man scented like the absence of conflict, the presence of unending peace.

Yet, his face was not the face of the man I wanted to be looking at, and this made me...disappointed and oddly sad.

"Can I come in?" He asked, flashing me one of those innocent smiles that did nothing but remind me of the fact that he was a good man that more than deserved my love. More than anything, I wished I could give it to him. My life would have been so much easier if I could.
