Weeks ago he wanted nothing to do with her. Didn’t even want to talk about her. Didn’t want to feel anything for her.

But right now the only thing he wanted to feel right now were the tantalizing curves of Katherine’s body. He wanted to grab her and kiss her all over again. Finish what they started that morning. Take off her clothes and thrust deep and hard inside her, leaving his mark on her forever.

He shook his head.

That was a bad idea. And he needed something to occupy his thoughts other than musing about what kind of underwear she was wearing under her clothes.

Her voice interrupted his thoughts.

“Mmm?” he questioned. He looked up and stared at her, thinking how soft and kissable her lips looked.

“I asked if you would like to stay for dinner?” she asked him.

“No… No,” he replied hastily. “Actually I think I should better get going.”
