Chapter 33. Help Teacher Greene

Alaric turned around with the spatula and saw only a blur of her running off.

Standing in front of the mirror, Emerald saw the blood dripping from her nose. She always thought it was exaggerated when men in movies and TV shows got nosebleeds after seeing a beautiful woman. Now that it had happened to her, she realized it wasn't an exaggeration.

"Damn it, he almost saw it!" she muttered to herself.

Once her nosebleed stopped, she decided to shower. Normally, she preferred warm water, but that morning she opted for a cold shower to cool down her body. She still couldn't shake the image of how sexy Alaric looked in that apron. Iris was right. Again and again.

After her shower, she grabbed a towel to dry her hair. Her brow furrowed when she felt that some parts were still damp.

"Did he use this?" she wondered aloud.

Emerald's mind started to wander again at the thought, and her face heated up even more. She shook her head furiously.
