Chapter 88. Dive

Before Alaric could react, Emerald unbuckled the belt around her waist, revealing what was hidden underneath. But before it fully showed, Alaric, startled, quickly wrapped her back up in the bathrobe, pulling her tightly into his arms.

Still confused by his reaction, Emerald couldn't understand what was happening when a male voice, full of amusement, called out from behind.

"How about we step aside for a moment and let the second brother handle this?"

It hit her in an instant.

There were other people in the room—other men!

Just as the realization dawned, Emerald heard the unmistakable, frantic bark of a dog.

"Ah!!!" she screamed, flustered and caught off guard by the unexpected situation.

The surprise quickly turned into shock.

Emerald was losing her mind. Alaric had only mentioned that he had something to take care of later, but he never said there was someone he wanted to see!

Now, Emerald regretted it deeply.
