Bryan was seething. How had all the people in his life betrayed him the way they had? Sharon carried his child for so long and the girl was almost three and yet she never told him even after their wedding. All she could do was lay accusations at him. Devon that he had taken as a sister came between him and Sharon, driving her into the waiting arms of another though he may have been dying. It made no difference to him because those years, she could have been with him together with his daughter.

David was no exception as he tried to take his place had Sharon not refused, they would have been married and David would have given his daughter his own name and posed as her father and he would have been nine the wiser.
