The moment I hear those words and see the guy looking straight at Emma my fucking heart breaks. How is this even possible? I thought she didn’t have a fated mate out there. Either way, I know that this is going to ruin me, I never thought I’d find true love again and I know I’ll never get over losing Emma. After just a few minutes she turns to face me and our eyes connect, and I don’t know what she’s thinking but one thing I do know is that I can’t stand here and watch this. I can’t watch the woman I love with another man so I turn around and walk towards the forest. I don’t know where I’m going but anywhere is better than being here right now.

“Alex, wait up!” I turn around to find Noah right on my tail.

“I’m really not up for talking right now brother, I just need to be anywhere but there.”

“That’s fine with me. I could do with getting away from there myself, fancy the company?” We both know what he’s doing but I do appreciate his efforts right
