Unexpected Tragedy

Shourya’s PoV

I returned home late. Diya opened the door but didn’t look at me. She might be angry at me. I took my dress and came back, taking a shower.

“Did you have your dinner?” Diya asked, looking at the floor.

“I will come to dining hall,” I said, and she went off.

She served dinner to me.

“Diya, did you have your dinner?”

“I had it with mom and dad,” she replied.

We went to the room, and she lay on the bed, turning to other side not to face me.

“Diya, are you angry with me?”

“No, Shourya. I am not angry with you. I think unless I prove truth to you, you may not believe me,” she said.
