Chapter 53

The mermaids around her saw nothing as they knelt around the altar with their eyes closed, kneeling and holding their hands while chanting “utmost mariners!!!” several times.

This went on for almost an hour before it stopped abruptly. Seconds later, the goddess sat on late Senator Shehu’s former chair, panting heavily. She soon dismissed the mermaids, who began to disappear one after the other before everything returned to normal.
