After teasing me once again, she ended the call, and I was indecisive about what to do next. But at least I had a destination and perhaps even a purpose. Something told me that this trip would be the best thing I could do at the moment, given everything that had happened to me.

Determined to move forward with this unexpected change, I felt excited about doing something new. I called Dolores and told her I was changing my plans and going to travel. I quickly bid farewell to Dolores, someone who had been a great support during the time I spent in that apartment, but without looking back or lamenting, I left Kael's penthouse.

Before heading to the airport, I followed through with the idea of selling half of my belongings at a well-known thrift shop known for the quality of its items. I managed to sell many of them, and the money was substantial, considering I had none before. I almost missed the flight, but I arrived at the airport in time and b
