Upon realizing that the man who had exited the Ferrari and was heading towards the building where Sarah lived was Enrico Bianchi, the pilot she was dating, I was overcome by emotion once again, even though I was certain that what I was doing was not right. Today, they wouldn't have the evening they had planned. I instructed the taxi driver to follow them closely. I wasn't the least bit concerned that they might notice they were being followed.
After a few minutes of driving, I felt a certain relief when I realized that the couple's destination was just an upscale restaurant in an elitist neighborhood of London. In a hurry, I paid the driver and headed to the restaurant's entrance. Soon, I was questioned by the hostess if I had a reservation, something I didn't have.
