Chapter 26
Aurora tried to back a wince when she felt the acrylic being shoved further into her finger, her eyes watered and she quickly looked away. She had no idea that it would be this painful to get artificial nails done and now that she did, she was never going to do it again,
"Oh, I think this color would look lovely on you," Her aunt, Christy, literally shoved the magazine into her face, showing her the variety of nail polish on it, "This one, I absolutely adore it," She pointed to a particular catalogue, beaming brightly.
Aurora gave her an unimpressed look, resisting another wince when the manicurist forced another acrylic into my thumb, "It's red," She said monotonously and Christy's grin widened,
"Just like your hair!"
She was starting to hate the idea of coming here.
Aurora rolled her eyes, shutting off her aunt's tittering. Her fifteen-year-old daughter, called her attention and Aurora breathe out in relief, watching from the corner of her eyes
