"Ma'am!"

She woke up with a start, gasping loudly for air and jumping from the bed. She winced when her neck made a small crack from the sudden motion and rubbed the small spot.

"Ma'am?" Her bleary eyes rose to meet the flight attendant in front of her.

Her brows knitted together in confusion, "What's wrong?"

"Oh," She smiled apologetically, "The plane landed a few hours ago; you were asleep, so you mustn't have noticed when it did."

Plane? Landed? Hours?

"Oh shit!" She jumped to her feet, cursing as she did and looking around. True to the attendant's words, there was nobody on board. "Wait, Wait a moment. What about that boy? The one who was here with me?"

She pointed at the empty space beside her. The attendant gave her another sorry look, "He must have left with the other passengers when the plane landed, I'm sorry."
