Chapter 114. Selene's Parents

Madeline's POV

"Wait, what?" I exclaimed in shock. "No, you are kidding us."

Unfortunately, Victor shook his head. He massaged his temples as if he was already stressed about the truth. 

"I saw everything in my eyes, Madeline. My vision cannot lie. It happened in the palace of the werewolves," he said. "Selene is a half witch and half werewolf. And she is not only an ordinary witch. Her mother is the best among all. If she did not leave our village, she could have been the witch queen. Not the other way around. Her mother is respectable, if she just did not fall in love with a werewolf."

"If she could be that powerful," I mumbled, "then we are in trouble. How could I defeat that when it comes to supernatural powers? She never tried any witchcraft, as in nothing. And when she first used her powers, it was natural to her. Like how could she do that?"

"Her mother must have done something," Victor said. "She must have performed an inca
