"Assassins," Uriel called their attention and placed his hands behind his back. "Tomorrow, before the sun rises, we will pack everything and leave no traces that we have been here. We will move past the abandoned castle. After that we will take a ship to reach Caesar's mountain in order to get the magic crystal. Let no enemies get it before the true guardian."
The assassins were in their formation again, listening intently to Uriel. As I watched him with his furrowed eyebrows, determined pair of brown eyes, and hardened face, I knew that he would be a great alpha of his pack. He hated being a leader, but now, he is standing like one. If he becomes the alpha next to his father, then I know that he will do a good job, and I will be proud of him.
"For now, you all have to promise me that your utmost priority is to protect the countess," he said. "Is it understood?"
