Chapter 38. When Will We Leave?

Zoe's POVI banged my head on the table because I thought he didn’t even check me or cook for me. But I am such a fool. He didn’t wake me up because he knew I was feeling bad. If I hadn’t gone to the kitchen I wouldn’t have seen the effort he made for me. I saw the swam soup he cooked and left a note that said:

“I didn't wake you up, don't go to the office if you can't. Eat well.”

I smacked my head against the table once again. Even with a note, I was restless and wanted to know who that woman was and why I had caught up with them in such a precarious position.
