Chapter 53. Destroy Me Tonight

Zoe's POVHe did stay silent about what I said, and he entirely let go of my hand. I grasped Yuna's hand in mine to draw her away, and then we got a cab home. When I have enough money, I plan to rent again so that I may be away from his place. Derek will no longer pursue me since he will believe I am still residing at his cousin's place. Yuna touched me and gestured behind us as we boarded. I grew even more upset when I noticed someone following us. What brings him here? Why can't she just go with his ex, who doesn't seem to be able to deal even if she's just apart from him for a short time?

I didn't look at him anymore and just looked straight at the road so I wouldn't think about what he did to me before. While I couldn't paint my face looking at the road, Yuna touched me again so my head got even hotter. When I'm really not in the mood I don't want to talk to anyone, so when the future comes and I calm down I apologize for my rude behavior.
