"You've done it," I remarked to Daniel as I took a seat, and he responded with a puzzled expression on his face.

"Done what?" he inquired.

"I came across the news this morning, stating that you've finally refuted the rumors about your wedding and even went against your usual protocol by granting an interview," I informed him, and he chuckled once he realized what I meant.

"Oh, I didn't expect you to find out so quickly. Are you keeping tabs on me or do you enjoy following news about me?" he asked, and a frown formed on my face.

"That better be a joke because there's no way I would keep tabs on you for any reason. I didn't even see it myself—Nelly, my roommate, was the one who showed it to me," I quickly clarified, feeling the need to defend myself. Daniel nodded, but there was a hint of unease in his reaction.
