Chapter 10

The next day, I couldn't stay and have breakfast with Noram. It had already been crazy enough to have sex all night with my boss and then sleep cuddled up like lovers. Leaving a note while tiptoeing out was the best thing to do.

The clear light of the new day makes me lose myself and try to get used to it, but when I look through the surrounding trees, I see paparazzi there, taking pictures of me at Noram's house. My eyes widen, and I rush back home. My heart races; there was no way they could have known I was here.

I wonder if I should wake Noram, and after much reluctance, I give in and wake him, hearing his sleepy protests before he finally opens his eyes.

"Good morning," he says with a smile. But I sit up on the bed, and he notices my expression, sitting next to me. "What happened?"

"I, um... was going to sneak out of your house before you woke up."
