As the wind howled, Alaric gazed at Zedekiel's face one last time, his expression a mix of sadness and resolve. With a heavy heart, he slowly lowered the spear, its point hovering just above Zedekiel's chest before withdrawing it completely. He turned away from Zedekiel and vanished into the swirling wind.

“Oh my God.” Prince Ludiciel sobbed, wiping his tears with the back of his hand. “I can’t believe Ron sacrificed so much for my brother.”
