2 weeks later

Two weeks passed by in a blur and I must say Jawad is trying his best to win me back although I’ve been testing him frequently by coming late to the office or making him cook at night. Sometimes I used to think maybe I’m too harsh on him but I still need to know if I can trust him again. You’re silly Farah. How much more are you going to suffer from him?

“Don’t you think the test is too much, I can see his eyes that shows how much he cares about you.” Aunt Fatima said beside me. My eyes went to him who was busy in the kitchen, his back facing us.

“I know aunt,” I replied back, letting out a sigh.
