Mary's POV 

"You have been out of your company for how long now?" He asked me. I widened my eyes in shock. I had even forgotten I had something going on before this drama happened. 

I am not sure I would say I forgot. I just had too many things clouding my mind. I could not think straight. 

"I called out companies back there." He said to me. "They continue to follow our formula everyday. Market has dropped a bit since we left, but they are still keeping the lights on. They were sure that one day, they would come back." He said to me. 

I sighed. I was happy that the business hadn't totally crumbled in our absence, but I also wondered how we would combine this business with our new found position.
