Chapter 62. A Luna's Submission

For several seconds, only the chirping of birds coming from the garden could be heard in the room. 

Finally, KuLaa swept her gaze at them and scoffed. 

"What do you want?"

Instantly, the two kids went on their knees with their heads touching the ground just like their mother had instructed them to. 

"My Liege, I brought the kids to apologize for their wrongdoings. Please forgive, My Liege." Megan said in a solemn voice.

"Mother, please!" Ryan stepped forward with pleading eyes. 

"What makes you think that I am angry with your kids?" KuLaa asked. 

Megan and Ryan were suddenly confused. If KuLaa wasn't angry with the kids, then why all the fuss? 

"Grandma…" 

Ainar raised her head up but before she could continue, an invisible and heavy weight suddenly descended on her and pressed her to the ground. 

The flooring under her knees cracked and her already pale skin turned red under it.
