Gradually, the two tubes opened up and started moving towards each other. They then joined together to form a cage. 

KuLaa and Fie looked at each other. 

In Fie's eyes, she could see hatred and hunger. They mirrored her own feelings and thoughts. This was when she realized the reason why they were left in that yellow water for so long. Their magical energy was sapped away by that water. 

KuLaa felt very weak.

The only way to devour another was to drain their blood and eat their heart. How was she going to do that when she was this weak?

"You!" Fie softly called out with a weak and raspy voice. It felt like pain. 

Unbothered, KuLaa turned to the several elders watching from outside. 

They had promised to let her devour the girl but now they want her to fight?
