Chapter 31. I Will Try to Fix You

Romeo's eyes were alert when he saw a strange man from a distance staring at him, to be precise, the woman beside him. Those eyes seemed to emit surprise plus a deep longing?

The rumbling in Romeo's heart was more significant than the sound of the music tonight. The gentle strains of the dance accompaniment became meaningless as the man intensely watched Rena. From the very beginning, he had been told by Jade that the guest from The Coldest Pack was giving him a strange look.

Romeo's alarm went off as the man in a neat tuxedo without a tie approached them slowly but steadily.

Even though he and Rena were only two steps apart, from the corner of his eye, he could see the woman enjoying the strains and her movements.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I accidentally got your shoes wet," the man regretted.

But, Romeo snorted when Rena immediately took a tissue and wiped it. She should be cursing at a man who dared to be reckless and cause chaos.
