Lena’s POV

I tried to book a flight back to Moon city that night but I couldn’t get one. Leonard, who refused to leave my side the entire time, offered for me to use his family private jet which I accepted without hesitation.

Throughout the ride, I tried to calm down but I couldn’t bring myself to. I kept thinking about the interview.

Even on the private jet Leonard arranged for me, my mind refused to rest.

My heart was racing when the plane finally landed in Moon city. I thought I won’t be back here anytime soon but just one act from Lucas ruined all those plans.

The moment I got into the cab, my hands trembled slightly as I pulled out my phone. I dialed Liam’s number immediately.

He picked up on the second ring. “Hello?”

“Liam, it’s me,” I said quickly. “Where is Lucas?”

There was a pause. Then his voice came, laced with surprise. “Luna? You’re back?”

“Please, Liam. Just tell me where he is.”

“He’s at the mansion,”
