Chapter 9. Fear of Losing

Adeline's POV

I cursed at myself for waking up late. It was 8;19 and aurora had just arrived to get me for breakfast but I overslept. Quickly brushing my hairs, I grabbed my phone before rushing out of my room.

I started running knowing I would be getting scolded by my teachers today. I quickly rushed towards the stairs when I realized, I... left my wallet.
