And then he touched me. “I had a treat for you.” he leaned in close.
The heel of my boot hit the bed and I stopped.
“What is it?” I swallowed as his hand moved to cradle my neck from behind.
Trapped between him and the bed like this, the heat from his chest burned against mine, and the metallic smell of his wound flooded my lungs, intensifying my depraved arousal.
“Fuck.” I murmured when he leaned into my neck.
“WAS,” he whispered in my ear. “You lost the right to my treat when you made an ill, exhausted man get up.”
I stepped back with a frown, temporarily forgetting there was no more space between me and the bed, and I toppled right onto the bed.
