Chapter 218. A Disaster

“Don’t open it.” I whispered harshly as Colt began to walk towards the door. 

He glanced back. “I’m done hiding, make yourself scarce, baby.” 

I blinked, the room suddenly spinning as my heart rate spiked.

I took deep breaths and again whispered, “Colt.” 

But he jerked the door open, and right outside Dean stood, insane with rage. 

His eyes skipped Colt completely and found me still standing far inside the restroom. “You whore!” He screamed, but Colt placed a hand on his chest, pushing him back as he walked out of the restroom.

“Now, that’s enough.” Colt glanced back at me again. I snatched my purse from the sink, and ran out the door, heading upstairs instead of down. The staircase instead of the elevator. 

Quivers had booked out the entire hotel for the dinner, so the place was mostly empty. 

Panting, I looked over my shoulder again and again as
