Maya Damadov, that was the name of the woman who walked into the boardroom just before a final vote to take me off as chairwoman to appease the public.

Her heels heralded her entrance, pausing Levine Washington halfway into his speech.

The light in everyone's eyes made me revolve my seat towards the door, and my jaw fell.

She looked like a real doll, hypnotizing cat eyes, emphasized by the high cheek bones that were almost unnaturally high. 

Her beauty was intimidating, stunning in a way that made every other woman in a room feel lacking.

“Maya Demadov, new Director of PR.” She announced, walked around, and took a vacant seat beside Leonardo, “Let this be my first project.”

“What first project?” Caroline asked a little harshly, and I turned to her in surprise. Wasn't this the person she had supposedly referred for the position?
