Olivia POV

There were two options left to me: hurl my fork at Norio’s sleazy eyes or leave.

Since I was hardly in the mood for Colt’s silent judgments or emotional-regulation-Ted-Talk, I pushed myself off the table and stood up.

All three men looked up at me immediately. 

“Excuse me,” I turned on my heel, and Dean got up to let me out. 

As I walked out, his eyes held questions and his hand brushed my hand, taking it in his.  

I looked down at my hand in his, jarred at the alien sight, and just stopping myself from grimacing.

Was he doing this for Colt’s benefit?

“You okay?” His voice was low.
