Chapter 36

Alicia was in the kitchen making breakfast when May came to join her.

"Good morning." She greeted and Alicia replied with a smile.

"Anything I can help you with?" May asked.

"Nah, I'm almost done here, hope you're feeling better now and is Diane up yet? Today's friday and I need to drop her off at school early."

"I'm good and yeah she's up, I already got her ready." May replied. "And one more thing Alicia." 

Alicia left what she was doing and turned to her since May sounded quite serious.

"Diane told me what happened yesterday, you really did tell her that her father is dead."

Alicia groaned. "Please May, let's not talk about this now, I've really got to get things ready and for your information, I don't regret telling her that, after all, I do consider that man dead to us and I wouldn't want my daughter having anything to do with him either, they don't deserve a place in my daughter's life and they won't be getting any." 

"I wasn't
