Chapter 74

Alicia and Adams had just arrived at Adams mansion, and it was still raining heavily, Adams paid the driver and they both got out, he made sure to cover Alicia with the umbrella, not caring that he was getting drenched.

They hurriedly walked to his door step, Adams opened the door and they went in.

Adams heaved a deep breath. "That was hectic." He said, slightly shivering. "You should come with me, I hope you won't mind putting on my clothes." 

Alicia shook her head. "I don't mind." She replied.

Adams smiled and led the way upstairs, although she literally knows every corner of the mansion since they had both lived in it for three years.

Adams took her to his bedroom, he opened the door and went in but before Alicia followed him in, it took a while, memories of the past came flooding in her head, but they were good memories this time, images of them spending time in this same bedroom which was once theirs.

"Alicia." Adams called softly.

"Huh?"
