Chapter 97

Alicia and Diane were both done with their breakfast and Adams didn't even join them, this didn't sit well with Alicia, in fact nothing at this point is going well with her, she doesn't even like the fact that Adams is letting Evie stay with them, but then what can she do, if she doesn't consent then that would make her look like the bad person here, and she's not about to leave that kind of impression on Evie.

"Mommy I'm tired, I want to sleep." Diane said, interrupting her thoughts.

"Okay baby, I'll just clear this up and take you to your room okay?" She replied. Diane nods.

Alicia hurriedly cleared the table, when she was done, she went to carry Diane and they both left for her room. When they arrived at Diane's room, she tucked her in and waited until she fell asleep, she made sure everything was okay with her before leaving her to sleep.

Alicia stood outside Diane's room contemplating if she should go search for Adams or not, she knew he's going to be with Evie
