Chapter 25. Not Worthy
It seemed that Theon didn’t hear his brother’s order as he paused for a moment, still staring at me blankly.
“I said leave us now, brother,” Ajax repeated, now looking deadly.
Theon seemed to wake up from his trance as he nodded. He fixed his suit and nodded, “Alright, just as my little brother requested. I’ll see you at the dinner tonight, Ajax.”
Ajax huffed, “Tonight? No, I won’t come.”
A light escaped from Theon’s lips, “I’ll make sure to give an excuse for you then…but we all know he won’t stop until he sees his favorite youngest son.”
And his footsteps drifted away as Theon woke outside and we could hear the sound of the car leaving.
Ajax turned to me, softly grabbing both of my cheeks and staring at me in the eyes, “Did he harm you? Tell me.” I shook my head, “No, he didn’t.”
