While Mrs. Fanning stays with Mellow’s friend, Mellow insists on following my brother and I.

I’ve considered threatening her, but that would be useless.

“You must always stay behind me, and be alert,” I instruct her as we make for my brother’s car.

“What if I chose Zachili? I haven’t seen you fight before,” she snaps playfully.

I chuckle. “All Lupins train in martial art, you know.”

Mellow shrugs as she enters the backseat. I board the front, while my brother drives.

“Still, I haven’t seen you fight,” she insists. “What if you use me as a body shield at the toughest moment.”

I burst into laughter. “Ouch, Mellow. Is that how much you distrust me?” I look at her through the rear-view mirror. She does the same too, winking at me with a bright smile. I reciprocate the wink.

“Anyways, why do you you think there will be danger, Zachili?” she asks, leaning forward to rest her elbows on the backrest of I and Zach’s seats.
